The unit records road conditions, the location of your vehicle, the way the vehicle is being driven and the forces applied to it. The unit reacts instantly to any sudden changes (such as sudden breaking) by recording pre and post event data to the system’s memory SD card. This invaluable video records precise location and inertia data which is now proven invaluable to countless users who have saved money and countless hours in expensive time-consuming litigation.
The unit works in all light conditions day or night and in all vehicles 12-24v, It is powered from the vehicle’s own power supply via the cigarette light adapter or can be hardwired. It comes with its own power cord and cable clips to make installation simple and the 120 degree wide angle lens captures full view.
The SD card holds data which can be played back on any Windows-based computer system using our supplied software. The system records on a continuous loop basis and stores pre and post event data when it detects G-Forces above set thresholds. This can be manually activated giving the operator full control. Once the card reaches capacity, the unit will begin automatically deleting the oldest recorded files and continue to record and log current live data. The software supplied with the unit is intuitive and simple to use allowing the user to view recorded history. This software will allow the review of the recorded video, the vehicle speed, its’ location via Google Maps (to street level where available), inertia data, time, date and (onboard sound if required).
